In 2005, in Brooklyn, New York, a woman named Rosie started making handmade soaps using mostly ingredients from local markets. She enjoyed cooking up her soaps so much that very soon she decided to invent more new recipes.

The soaps started catching on among friends, family and the neighbors. People started asking for the soaps along with gifts baskets for their special occasions or thank you gifts, and suddenly "The Soap Bakery" was a true business. Since then, Rosie has relocated with her family, her soaps and scrubs, to the beautiful downtown Melbourne area.

The Soap Bakery makes handmade soaps with natural ingredients like, pure essential oils and fruit extracts. We know you'll enjoy our handmade soaps, scrubs and soaks because we make them in our own kitchen with the finest ingredients available. At The Soap Bakery, there is no such thing as mass produced -- all of our products are produced in small quantities. Our soaps are vegan safe, contain no SLS or detergent, and are made from 100% vegetable glycerin base.

Herbs and essential oils, along with oatmeal, dead sea mud, honey, etc. are all added to our soaps at low temperatures and at the very end process so the benefits are not destroyed. We even use real figs in our fig soap!

Our products make wonderful gifts for any occasion or holiday. We make Brown Sugar Body Scrub, with organic whole leaf aloe vera gel, and Fizzy Bath Bombs with Dead Sea Salt, that will make your birthday suit shine. The Soap Bakery will customize any gift box order or gift basket. We also do favors for special occasions.
